In this episode of ECCB Digital Dialogues, the focus will be “Pandemic and Faith”.
The COVID-19 pandemic has upended every facet of life for humanity as a collective. This experience could be classified as a “lifequake” – a term invented by author Bruce Feiler to characterise major, lingering, socially disruptive events. The unprecedented health, economic and financial stresses brought on by the pandemic have caused physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual distress for many and triggered feelings of being overwhelmed and occasioned an existential crisis for some.
As policymakers and social partners work in solidarity to implement an all-of-society approach to ensure a holistic strategy for battling the effects of the COVID-19 crisis, we will delve into the role of faith in our region’s response to the pandemic.
Please join the ECCB Governor as he moderates a live and interactive ECCB Digital Dialogue that will bring a message of hope in the face our current challenges. Governor Antoine will be joined by: Lead Pastor, Lincoln D. Connor, Antioch Baptist Church, Saint Christopher (St Kitts) and Nevis; Bishop Gabriel Malzaire, Catholic Diocese of Roseau, Commonwealt of Dominica; and Methodist Preacher, Joycelyn Tuitt from Montserrat.
The panelists will explore the role of faith in overcoming adversity and building personal resilience.
Be part of the conversation as we take collective action to transform our region, now.
