Cookie Policy

Do we use 'cookies'?

Yes. Cookies are small text files that a website, app or its service provider transfers to your device’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you give permission). These small files enable the website, app or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember information used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current website or app activity.

Why do we use cookies?

We use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about website and app traffic and user interaction so that we can offer better browsing experiences and tools in the future. We use trusted third-party services to track this information on our behalf. These service providers are Google Analytics, LuckyOrange and Matomo.

When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you register and submit an inquiry, place an order, respond to a survey, fill out a form or enter any other information on our website or app. When persons visit our website or access our app, third party services such as Google Analytics, LuckyOrange and Matomo are used to collect standard internet log information (such as the visitor’s IP address and browser type) and details of visitor behavior patterns.  We do this to allow us to keep track of the number of visitors that visit our website and app and to understand how our website and app are being used.

In any instance where we collect your personal data, we will make this clear to you and will set out how we will use it. We will only use your personal data in a way that is compatible with the uses outlined in our Privacy Policy and we will not share your information with any other organizations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes. We do not pass on your details to other websites or apps. The ECCB will never send out emails seeking information from anyone, unless that person has first communicated with the ECCB. The ECCB will never send emails requesting payment to any users.

You can choose to have your device warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser or device settings.

If users disable cookies:

If you turn cookies off, some of the features that make your browsing experience more efficient may not function properly.

You can remove cookies by deleting them from your browser history (cache) when you leave the website or app.  You can find more information about cookies, including how to control the use of these through your browser settings, at Allaboutcookies.org or www.aboutcookies.org.
