St Vincent & the Grenadines to Issue Treasury Bills on the RGSM
Basseterre, April 22, 2003 For the second time, in just one month, the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is preparing to issue securities on the Regional Government Securities Market (RGSM). On Thursday April 24, 2003, the Government will issue sixteen million Eastern Caribbean dollar (EC$16,000,000) Treasury Bills, with a 91-day term, through a competitive uniform price auction using the ECSE Primary Market Platform. The minimum bid amount is EC$5,000 and maximum discount rate offered is 5.82 % (or $98.55). Investors wishing to purchase these treasury bills will be able to place their bids with any of the licenced market intermediaries The bidding period will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m on April 24th.
