Savings and Investment course resumes
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank is once again teaming up with financial and academic partners to host another Savings and Investment Course scheduled to commence on 21 September 2006 at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College. The ten-week course will focus students on areas such as personal financial planning, debt management, risk management strategies and trading on the securities market. The knowledge and skills that will be acquired are expected to translate into positive outcomes not only for the students, but also for the country and the region as a whole. To date, one hundred and fifteen individuals have successfully completed the course since its commencement in St. Kitts in October 2004. Delivery of the course is being made possible through the successful fostering of partnerships between the ECCB, the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College, the University of the West Indies, and local financial institutions.
