INTER-CENTRAL BANK GAMES HERE AT EASTER
Basseterre, February 28, 2001 More than 200 athletes from central banks in the region are expected to be in St Kitts at Easter for the Fourth Inter-Central Bank Games. Netball, volleyball, table tennis, and cricket are some of the sporting activities scheduled for ECCB headquarters and the Edgar Gilbert Sporting Complex in Molineux between April 12 and 16. Among the participating countries are Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Belize and the Bahamas. As host of the games, the ECCB is collaborating with several sporting associations in the country for assistance with officiating. Every two years the staff of Caricom central banks come together for the games, which were held in Jamaica in 1999 and Barbados in 1997, after a break of nearly twenty years.
