Historic Regional Interactive Public Discussion with Government Officials and Other Leaders
Basseterre, 17 July 2009 The ECCU Heads of Governments, the ECCB Monetary Council and the OECS Economic Union Task Force will be holding a regional interactive discussion with the public via videoconference on Thursday, 23 July 2009 at 8:00 p.m. The videoconference which is expected to last for two hours will address:
- The OECS Economic Union, and
- The ECCU Eight Point Stabilisation and Growth Programme.
This is an historic conference as it will be the first time that a regional public discussion with top government officials and other leaders has been organised to advance the economic agenda of the region. Additionally, the economy and the way forward for the countries of the OECS are on everybody
