ECCB To Launch Collection of Sir Arthur Lewis Memorial Lectures
Basseterre, St Kitts, 03 November 2006 On 13 November 2006, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank will launch a collection of lectures by ten outstanding regional and international economists delivered during its Sir Arthur Lewis Memorial Lecture Series. The series was started in 1996 as a tribute to Sir William Arthur Lewis, Nobel Laureate and a pioneer of development economics, whose portrait appears on the EC one hundred dollar note.
