ECCB Presents 2011 Best Corporate Citizen Awards Among ECCU Commercial Banks
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) will award commercial banks which operate within the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) for their outstanding contribution to the overall development and well-being of the citizens of the region, at the 2011 Best Corporate Citizen Awards Among ECCU Commercial Banks on 2 November. The awards recognise the banks for implementing and participating in initiatives designed to improve the quality of life of the members of the communities in which they operate. Good Corporate Citizen Awards will be presented to banks that have been adjudged to have carried out their corporate social responsibilities to the highest level in the following areas: 1. Educational Development 2. Community Outreach and Social Services 3. Environmental Awareness 4. Sports 5. Cultural Development 6. Customer Service 7. Financial Education and Empowerment The Best Corporate Citizen Award will be presented to the overall winner.
