
Communique Of The 51st Meeting Of The Monetary Council, ECCB, 23 July 2004
The fifty-first meeting of the Monetary Council held in Saint Christopher (St Kitts) and Nevis on 23 July 2004 was chaired by Council member Dr the Honourable Denzil Douglas, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Development, Planning and National Security and Planning, Saint Christopher (St Kitts) and Nevis. Prime Minister Douglas took over as chairman from the Honourable Margaret Annie Dyer Howe, Minister of Agriculture, Housing, Land and Environment, Council member for Montserrat, at a handing over ceremony on July 22, 2004. Other Council members attending the meeting were: Honourable Victor Banks, Minister of Finance, Economic Development, Investment and Commerce, Anguilla; Dr the Honourable Errol Cort, Minister of Finance and Economy, Antigua and Barbuda; Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Planning and Carib Affairs, Dominica; Honourable Anthony Boatswain, Minister of Finance, Trade and Planning, Grenada; and Honourable Conrad Sayers, Minister of State Ministry of Finance and Planning, Temporary Alternate Member, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. REPORT OF THE TAX REFORM AND ADMINISTRATION COMMISSION Council Members received the final report of the Tax Reform and Administration Commission. Council expressed appreciation to the Commissioners for the work done and agreed to recommend the report for the consideration of the member governments. GOVERNOR
