Banknote Printers Offer Post-Graduate Scholarship in Economics
Basseterre, St Kitts 09 June 2004 A new scholarship is now available to students of Economics from the ECCB member countries. De La Rue Currency, the British Company that prints the Eastern Caribbean banknotes, is offering a two-year award, which will be known as the Thomas De La Rue Scholarship. It will be open to persons who are pursuing a full-time post-graduate degree programme at the M.Sc Degree level or who are in the final stage of a PhD Degree Programme, and will be tenable in the Department of Economics at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. At the end of the first year, the awardee will serve a period of internship at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.
